Kevin N. Molony grew up in Edgefield, S.C., and attended Presbyterian College before graduating from Charlotte School of Law.
While at Presbyterian College, Kevin played free safety, earning 1st team all-conference honors as a senior.
During law school, Kevin spent his summers in both Horry and Georgetown Counties clerking for the Solicitor’s Office.
He began his career as the law clerk to the Honorable William P. Keesley of the Circuit Courts in Edgefield, Saluda, McCormick and Lexington Counties.
In 2012, he became an Assistant Solicitor for the Second Judicial Circuit, covering Aiken, Barnwell, and Bamberg Counties, for Solicitor J. Strom Thurmond, Jr. During this time he successfully prosecuted hundreds of general session cases, involving drugs, violent crimes, property offenses and DUI’s.
Kevin is a Board Member of the Child Advocacy Center in Aiken and manages the yearly CAC Golf Tournament to benefit the CAC.
Kevin currently resides in Aiken, SC with his wife Lauren Smith Molony and their golden retriever, Lattimore.
