Carlos Cordero

About
Carlos was born in San Cristóbal, Venezuela, before relocating to Hampton, South Carolina, at the age of four. He later settled in Bluffton where he developed a deep appreciation for the Lowcountry’s sense of community and tradition. Carlos went on to attend the University of South Carolina, earning both his bachelor’s degree and his Juris Doctor during his time in Columbia.
After graduating from law school, Carlos served as law clerk to The Honorable Robert J. Bonds in the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit. His time with the court deepened his understanding of South Carolina’s legal system and gave him valuable insight into courtroom dynamics across multiple counties.
Carlos began his career in private practice shortly after completing his clerkship, joining a litigation firm in Bluffton before transitioning to Charleston to join the civil litigation practice group at Thurmond Kirchner & Timbes, P.A. Being fluent in Spanish, Carlos is particularly passionate about serving the Spanish-speaking community, ensuring they have strong, effective representation.
Outside the office, Carlos enjoys golfing, spending time with friends and family, and is proud to call the Lowcountry his home.
